Directed by talented writer, Mansi Jain, the short film features brilliant actor Aparshakti Khurana, Mallika Dua and Maria Goretti in an unconventional role.

The story of ‘Nawab’ revolves around a man who is dumped by his wife after 4 years of marriage and leave him not only depressed but also with a dog that they adopted together. Barely able to handle his own feelings, the man decides to dump the unwanted dog but ultimately finds a companion in him.

Commenting on the film, actor Aparshakti Khurana said, “Nawab is a moving story which teaches us the important lessons on life, loss and companionship in a funny yet deep manner. Speaking about making his comeback on television, Ishtiyak said, “Gudiya Humari Sabhi Pe Bhari is my second television series and I am quite thrilled about getting an opportunity to be a part of it. The show has been quite a success with the audience for its relatable characters, authentic Bundelkhandi dialect and simple storyline. Speaking about his character, ‘Ballu’ in the show, the actor commented, “Ballu’s character is going to be a delight for the audience. Caught between two wives, who never leave a chance to publicity roast him especially when he tries to be over smart, Ballu’s broken English will make a good laugh and hilarity for the audience. Ballu’s presence will add an authentic MP flavor in his dialect, mannerisms along with his look and feel, making for complete family entertainment. I am looking forward to the audience's reaction to this brand-new character in the show.”

In the upcoming episode, Pappu is about to meet with an accident while walking on the road, but someone saves him and introduces himself as Ballu. Ballu (Ishtiyak Khan) is Gudiya’s new neighbor and has come to live in the haunted Haveli. Pappu calls Ballu over for lunch and Ballu accepts his invitation. The moment Ballu puts the first morsel in his mouth he gets up and starts to leave Gudiya’s house saying he needs to rush to the washroom.
